Hi Ben,

My great grandfather was born in 1866 and died in 1945, he did have a sister called Alice born 1870 but that is all I know about her and I have no other Alice Corr's in my family tree. I can't see any Morgan's either so I'm not sure if we're related or not. I do recall from when I started my family research that I discovered at least three James Corr's, two of who were not related to me, so it may be that your uncle is connected to one of those.

Hi Damon. Thanks for your reply. So since reading through your post. I read that James Corr didn't receive his medals I told that to my uncle and he said that's right his wife through them in the fire when she received them in the post so I do think you're related somehow. Hi Ben, with the additional information you have provided there is no doubt that this is not the same James Corr as my great grandfather, and neither does this chap match any description I'm aware of in the rest of our family.
