Good day all

My name is Richard Bellas, I was brought up in Kimberley, South Africa and have always had a fascination with the Boer war and in particular, the Siege and actions relating to the Relief of Kimberley. In this regard I have focused on collecting medals relating to these actions and have attempted to collect a medal to each unit and redoubt involved in the Defence of Kimberley and to every Regiment involved in the Relief of Kimberley and the battles of Paardeberg and Driefontein (my theme being from Orange River Station to Bloemfontein). I have also collected ABO's to all Commandos involved in said actions.

In the above regard I would be interested in communicating with collectors with similar interests.

Morning David
Thanks for your notice relating to the QSA to W. Bellas on City Coins auction. I am aware of this item and will most definitely be trying to add this medal to my little collection. William Bellas was the brother of my great grandfather Edward - whose medals I have in my collection. He served at No 6 Redoubt. The other brother being John who served together with William in No IV Sect D COY
