Hello all

I'm researching the boer war because of the part my great uncle played in it.

The centenary of his death on 8th may 1915 is approaching.

After serving in the Boer war in the 1st (king's) Dragoons, he emigrated to Canada.

He answered the call to serve again in 1914 and died at Ypres one of the Princess Patricia's Light Infantry "originals"

Hello,
A nineteen year old porter from Ely, he joined the Army on the 7th of March 1900 and was posted to the 1st Dragoon Guards two days later on the 9th, he served in South Africa from the 8th of February 1901 and remained there as part of the garrison after the war, interestingly, he transferred to the 6th Dragoon Guards in 1903.
What in particular did you want to know?
Regards Frank Kelley
