I think the missing link is somewhere between the Fort at Cogmans and the Dutch Reformed Church in Bath St which was the the HQ- This is a blank area where any form of signalling would be a problem - Somewhere in between ?

The circular fort between the TV masts was the main communication site as all other forts are visable to it
The only exception is the fort over the tunnel which would have been a last line of defence suppoted by Robertson
I've been on all hills and there is nothing betewween Montagu and the fort over the tunnel

On the list of men from the town guard..The knipes are still her along with the stemmetts and kreils...The main store/parade ground is still here....In another generation it could disapear
