Thanks for the welcome, I have always loved history and anything old as long as i can remember. As a teenager I had a metal detector and would spend every spare minute out digging things up. I spent 22 yrs in the Army and medals were never really of interest to me until now, having a row of them now myself I can appreciate their worth to the owners. There is indeed a wealth of information on here and so many kind, enthusiastic members sharing what they know.
