More Tangent......

In Canada we started off with a serial number in the navy it was 12345-H or 12345-E meaning the home base was Halifax or Esquimalt...... These numbers were changed to SIN Social Insurance Numbers and the same with the US they were changed back to an individual number for security / identity theft as well......
