Welcome aboard Sil.
Great start!
I tend to start with a unit description on Google ( don't forget Images) , a quick peek at Dix Noonan Webb to see if there are any records of this medal or others to the same man. Then Ancestry.com.
I would then try and find out more about Standerton

angloboerwar.com/unit-information/imperi...-royal-irish-lancers

wounded Standerton 9th Feb 1901
search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?_p...=3%204%205&ml_rpos=3

On the roll with Clasp as stated and King's Medal
search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?_p...p=11&MSAV=1&uidh=2l3
Looking for Salutries, Salootries and Veterinary Duffadars.
I collect primarily QSAs to Indian Recipients.

Thank you very much

Great to hear there is more information and i,m curious what happend at Standerton.
Dix Noonan hasnt more about W.G.Penn and My main problem is i dont have a creditcard and Ancestry only accept a creditcard as payment method.
If a member is willing to provide me the scans i dont find it a problem to send a financial gift.

Regards.
