A fascinating top which I have read with interest.

Not to highjack this thread in any way but as my knowledge on this unit is limited I would like to ask a question.

Does anyone know what the insignia of the Ceylon 'Mounted Infantry' way? I keep finding referenced to the Mounted 'Rifles' but not the 'Mounted Infantry'.

Any thoughts?
