4204 B Stafford relates to Benjamin

The service papers are available free from the National Archives or at cost via FindMyPast. These documents will clarify their service in South Africa and the awards made.

I have set of the pertinent WO97 papers, but couldn't recall where they were sourced. I guess I could try and obtain the records for others in the Regiment to see whether they received their medals or not. That might indicate whether there was an administration problem.
