Hi Linden
Many thanks for your info on the uniform chevron. Do you happen to know a date regarding the uniform? Is it circa 1890s? or perhaps later.
All we have at the moment is a soldiers name, a fine Scottish regiment and a Private who is of good conduct. All good fun! any further help would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the information. I am trying to out where he was born and the date of birth is 1883.
