Here is a slightly better scan of the photograph of the N.S.W.A.M.C. N.C.O.'s, taken from "The New South Wales Contingents to South Africa", compiled by Lieutenant W. Henderson, Sydney 1900.

Thanks Neville, good to see Harry Burden on the list of tribute medals. Great work!
Scrolling through the list and dipping in, I now realise just how many are 'missing'.

Recently acquired for small change, an example of the brass slouch hat badge as worn by the New South Wales Army Medical Corps, hopefully as worn by Sergeant Harry Burden and his comrades.

Brass slouch hat badge, red felt applied very recently.

An example of the badge as shown on the Australian War Memorial website (so I believe I have the correct badge for the Victorian period!).

A nice addition to Harry's QSA and tribute medal.
