I have the Soldier’s New Testament ( South Africa 1900) of Malcolm Hardy , 6546 27th ( Devonshire) 7th Battalion Imperial Yeomanry. It looks like it was given to him by a minister “ who had 4 horses shot under him in one day”
Can anyone make sense of the information given on the pages inside the cover?
I know that Malcolm Hardy was born in Tow Law Durham in 1878 and died there aged 29 in 1907.
Thanks in advance.

Hello Meadowfield

Welcome to the forum, many thanks for sharing the information.
I am sure the forum will be able to help with your request? I will have a go at deciphering over the weekend. I have attached a couple of snippets for your records.
