On the contrary, the UK is full of Boer rifles, I know of over a dozen Boer Mausers for sale at present. Large quantities came to the UK as souvenirs. A good shooting Mauser will be around £750.
But these are live rifles, and importing back into SA is a whole other story!
Higher prices are reached for obsolete calibre rifles like MH and Guedes because they don’t need a license in the UK
