The past year has been a very good one for the ABW site. The forum has proved to be increasingly successful and popular, allowing the site to grown in ways that I would not have been able to do myself. The range, diversity, depth, information and images have been quite amazing.

What has most struck me again this year is the freedom with which the site's members have shared information, knowledge, skills and resources to the benefit of the many people who continue to seek information about the Boer War and for the interest, enjoyment and edification of the other members of the site who share this passion.

I have really enjoyed hosting the site in 2012 and look forward to its further development and expansion in 2013.
