Frank,

None at all. I live too close to the coast, they live more in the North of the Country.

I get plenty of snakes though. This is the time of year for them. I find Bush snakes in my garden at least once a week and also the odd night adder one of which put me in Hospital for a couple of days. In the town of Westville and surrounds which is 5 Km's from me, you find the odd black mamba and mozambique spitting cobra.

Regards
Adrian

Hello Adrian,
Well as I don't live in the country, so I really don't know what their current range is, I do know that they were quite common in some places such as Pretoria at one time.
Kind regards Frank

LOL,
Remember, all Adder's are "puff's" :woohoo: !
Is the Cobra protected by "cites" if so, sun glasses would be the order of the day, if not, a shotgun, perhaps?
Don't reckon I'd want one in my habayis border!

Hi again.
Please could you tell me if it's possible to get a full copy of the record you showed me re: Richard Ashton. I have copies of ancestors from WW1 from Ancestry but I don't know how to get a copy from the a Boer War.
Thanks
