The information concerning the unit comes from Steve Watts In Memorial p433 but Meurig is correct that the roll states IY Bearer Company (WO100/130p267) of which there was only one.

In September 1900 there were three IY Hospital units, one in Deelfontein, one in Pretoria and another on McKenzie's Farm.
