In fact he served with 2nd Contingent, NSWAMC and his number was 365. Unit embarked 17th January, 1900 and arrived in SA 22 Feb 1900 and were attached to Gen. Gatacre's column.

It is frustrating that we cannot locate JP on the rolls.

He seems to be known as Jack so my only thoughts are that he served under a different name altogether?
