Pictured is the officially boxed version of the Dundee Tribute Medal as issued to the troops in Dundee ,this one is for 1900.
It is the only boxed one that I have seen , it was the property of Colonel James Rankin , who was the CO of the 1st Vol Battalion Royal Highlanders.

I thought I would add Col Rankins Queen Victoria Territorial Decoration to the post it is inscribed on the rear “Colonel J Rankin Commanding 1st ( City of Dundee ) The Black Watch Royal Highlanders 1892”.
