Dear Mike, many thanks for digging deeper in to the archives, your latest information is very, very good. With regard to the third badge photo, with the letters I.V.LINC, could it not perhaps be Imperial Volunteers, Lincolnshire? I searched the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, via Wikipedia, and the following information appeared. "The Royal North Lincolnshire and Royal South Lincolnshire Militia regiments became the 3rd and 4th Battalions, and the 1st and 2nd Lincolnshire Rifle Volunteer Corps became the 1st and 2nd Volunteer Battalions (a 3rd Volunteer Battalion was added in 1900)." Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Best wishes, Ian.

Good Morning Ian......

You understand that the Imp. Yeomanry Companies and Battalions were made up many different and diverse units..... From what I understand is that the 22 Company, 2nd Battalion had members of the Lincoinshire Yeomanry who served in SA even though it was listed as Cheshire......

2nd Battalion
5th (Warwickshire) Company, raised 1900
21st (Cheshire) Company, raised 1900
22nd (Cheshire) Company, raised 1900
32nd (Lancashire) Company, raised 1900; co-sponsored by Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry Cavalry, and Lancashire Hussars
103rd (Warwickshire) Company, raised 1901
110th (Northumberland) Company, raised 1901

Could also be one of the Mounted Infantry Companies.....

7th Mounted Infantry Company
Norfolk Regiment
Lincolnshire Regiment
Scottish Borderers
King's Royal Rifle Corps

The shoulder title in the first photograph is the 1st Volunteer Battalion of the Lincolnshire Regiment, the collar badge in the second is a Lincolnshire Regiment other ranks example normally worn upon the scarlet Home Service Full Dress tunic from 1881 until it was withdrawn in September 1914, the strung bugle in the third photograph could be a number of thing depending upon it's particular size.
