Mike,
Driscoll's Scouts badges tend to bear Dan Driscoll's name they are from my experience made in brass not silver, quite a large unit too, the famous Irish harp badge was made from a die and is cast, not cut or struck.
I have down the years made careful note to examine every example of Driscoll's badges and medals that I've ever seen and have bought a great many too.
Whilst I very much like and admire Capt Driscoll, I do believe these to be Dennison's Scouts, of course if it were possible to prove that, look what we would both have
Dennison or Driscoll? I know which I'd rather have, the maths speaks for its self!
Frank.
If only they could speak!
