$71! Well the City of London Yeomanry were indeed the "Rough Rider's"
I like the trade me running Kiwi!
There was a Rand jeweller who made a similar looking Kiwi for individual NZ soldiers in the Anglo Boer War!

Upon looking at the link, this seller makes no actual claim that the collar/cap/beret badge he is selling has anything to do with New Zealand, however, he does imply that by the inclusion of his third photograph on the site.

You are correct it is not stated but the badge page with this photo from an unquoted source implies it is a NZMR badge. Rather misleading really. That was the view I formed incorrectly!!
If I see another pop up again, I will ask the seller the direct question.

I am sure what he has done there is to just place the scan of that badge on top of another scan with the NZ stuff.
