Hello Mike,
Regarding your 5th Dragoon Guards, the first is not a cap badge, it is an Albert pattern helmet plate and I assume the second was worn by a horse.

I really can't be bothered, they are just bits of old tin, but I do like them.

I'd need to buy a new camera card to photograph them all like Dudley and Mike, I was a very keen collector as a small boy and ended up with quite a few, as a badge, despite it's rather teutonic appearance, a favourite would have to be The Emperor's Chambermaids
