Very nice too Mike,
John Sandison, a 21 year labourer, had originally joined the regiment at Perth in 1886 and served until released from the reserve in 1898, he in effect, rejoined on a short service engagement for the war, he was posted to the regiments 2nd battalion on the 12th of February 1900, appointed to Lance Corporal on the 22nd of April and then Corporal and "retransfer" to the reserve on the 1st of June 1901.
With service in South Africa from the 12 of June 1900 to the 1st of June 1901, he then served again in the Royal Garrison Regiment and the 3rd Black Watch in the Militia.
A very nice find Mike, you can add the South Africa 1901 clasp to it!
