Hello David,
New sections do seem like a good idea, badges and insignia would be a good section.
The generalised "Miscellany" section seems to be the place to post threads that do not fall under a particular section, maybe this could be expanded with sub-sections?
I always struggle to find the correct section to post my postcards, maybe a section called emphemera (hope thats the correct word)
I think we all congratulate you with any updates to a great site.

Two new sections have been created:

- Ephemera
- Tribute medals, medallions and commemorative medals

I will start the process of moving some existing posts to the new sections. This will take a little while but in no way affects the functioning of the forum.

I have just about completed the move of posts to the new forum but a few remain where I need to open the post to discover the content.

In the spirit of better organising the forum, I have created a new section for Uniforms, Badges and Equipment and moved some post there.

The confusion caused by having a Medals and Awards and a Gallery section has been removed by the delection of the Gallery section and move of post from here to other, more relevent sections of the forum.

I hope those changes make sense and result in a forum that is easier to navigate and where new posts can be more readily be assigned to the appropriate section.

Any suggestions to improve the forum are welcomed.
