Hello Paul,
Make no mistake, that is actually a very scarce medal indeed, I really can't remember the last time I saw one, I certainly don't have an example in my Anglo Boer War collection, have you?
Regards Frank

Hi Frank,

Yes it is very nice indeed.
I do not have an 11th in my collection, just a 13th and 18th

Regards
Paul :)

Mike,
Make no mistake, as I said to Paul, that is a rare medal, not something that you see very often, even here, really, anyone seeing a good example should just buy it!

So what is it about the British Cavalry that you find so attractive Mike?
I have to say that I'm with you, they were and still are really quite magnificent.

Hi Frank......

I have all the Infantry Units now and working on the Cavalry......

But then again......

I have done a lot of work with the now Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) and at one time I served in The King's Own Calgary Regiment, (aka Calgary Tank Regiment of Dieppe fame) so I guess you can say it is a bit inbred.....
