Good Morning Ryan......

Just another little bit of trivia.......

The number of bars issued to the B.S.A.P. .....

397 Cape Colony
77 Orange Free State
625 Transvaal
1015 Rhodesia
94 Defence of Mafeking
372 Relief of Mafeking
521 South Africa 1901
397 South Africa 1902
536 Rhodesia as a single clasp
269 QSA with date clasps only

The rarest it seems is Orange Free State......

Thanks very much all!

Now I really want to find one with an OFS clasp! It would seem something easy to find but clearly not!

Cheers
Ryan

Hi Ryan, I have been researching my family history and Albert Tidboald is my ancestor. Do you still have his medals? He was born in Devon in 1871, married to Annie and I don't think he had any children. I have attached a photo of him at Government House, Pretoria

Hi Amy

I don't think your attachment worked.

I do still have the group, they are part of my collection to rare combinations where someone has really moved around a lot, such as Rhodesia then to Natal. It is not a combination that is often seen.

Regards
Ryan
