Sparks Bros. shop is on the right hand side of Murchison Street (opposite the Town Hall) in this post-siege photo. Having lived in Ladysmith, I would have passed this spot many times but, sadly, the old buildings are long gone.

An excellent picture, Rory.

I can remember standing on the table in the town hall to take a picture of the portrait of David Sparks that sits high up on the wall in the main chamber.
