Encountering this example to Driscoll's Scouts during cataloguing the collection:
"38085 Tpr. J.R.Kelly. Driscoll's Scts" clasps OFS/Tvaal/SA1902

Served between 12/1/1902 and 30/6/1902 and SAFF shows "slightly wounded, Leeuwfontein, 24/4/1902"
one of two casualties suffered on that day and at that location. Stirling says that Driscolls were operating with one of Col. Rochfort's columns and in April of 1902 were making "surprise visits" to various likely resorts of the enemy. And of the 15th of that month, took fifty seven prisoners (including two of DeWet's staff) near Schweizer Reneke. Later took part in the great drives in the Western Transvaal.
Was this QSA one of your former collection?
Regards
IL.
