Some info on Lieutenant T. McCubbin, Durban Light Infantry. This is taken from the post regarding McCubbin, "He joined the Durban Light Infantry in 1901". This is actually untrue! He was actually already serving as Lieutenant-Colonel of the D.L.I. in March 1900! At the end of March 1900 he was based somewhere in the Estcourt (Natal) area with the D.L.I.

QSA (4) Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Cape Colony, South Africa 1902 (412 Pte F. Dowse. Durban. L. I.), unofficial rivet between second and third bars);
Natal (1) 1906 (Sgt: F. J. Dowse Durban Light Infantry);
1902 Coronation Medal (bronze).

Sold with copied Marriage Certificate, 1913 and Death Notice 1936.
