Thanks I am looking into that also I wonder if he knew Lawrence..... Remember in the movie they said that their Arab Allies would only take payment in gold......

Have been contacted by the seller and they have found a few papers and a piece of plain red and a piece of faded blue with pale yellow stripes on each end.......

They are being sent to me,,,,,,

The medal grouping that was awarded to Colonel James Huggett Esq.
The Queens South Africa medal from the Boer War is engraved, not pressed. The rim shows: J. HUGGETT ESQ.
The British War and Victory medals from WWI are named the same: COL. J. HUGGETT
My late husband's notes indicate he was the financial advisor to General Edmund Allenby. That he had over 40 years of service (the note also says Ireland). He has #527 next to the CBE in his notes.
I was not able to find anything specific on James Huggett except mention of private papers that put him in Egyptian Expeditionary Force in 1918 in the financial advisor's office.

I have found that the #527 is the issue number for the CBE but there is no Bio......
