Orlando Fieldhouse, a Weaver Overlayer from Bradford, attested into the East Yorkshire Regiment on 21 May 1892. He served in Egypt from 14 March 1893 to 27 April 1895 and saw further service in South Africa during the Boer War with the 2nd Battalion from 14 March 1900 to 26 August 1892
