No. I have too many Bhisties in the cabinet already. However I have been since the middle of last month trying to get a 13th Bengal Lancer out of Pakistan. Yes I have now given up on that one.
Looking for Salutries, Salootries and Veterinary Duffadars.
I collect primarily QSAs to Indian Recipients.

The two Indian silver QSAs went under the hammer today.

QSA (3) Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1902 (1846 Sowar Karimdad Khan. 1st C. India H.) sold for a hammer price of £420. Totals (inc VAT for UK only): £541. R10,400. Au$950. Can$890. US$740

QSA (1) South Africa 1902 (1692 Sowar Jagat Singh. 18th Bengal Lcrs:) sold for a hammer price of £480. Totals (inc VAT for UK only): £618. R11,900. Au$1,090. Can$1,020. US$850

Hopefully we can soon see Karimdad Khan joining the horse lines in the Cape. With some luck he might have been involved in the operations in the Kurram Valley with the rest of the regiment. What is known is that he was awarded the India Long Service & Good Conduct Medal in the 1910 India Army Orders.
