Got the one I wanted! Post coming up about it as soon as it arrives - in time for Christmas I hope ..... a non-descript QSA but a great story not shared in the catalogue.

Still waiting for the invoice.
My fingers are hovering over the key board in preparation for the bank transfer.

I received the invoice late yesterday and paid this morning.
Only missed 1 x lot, the ABO to RE Benson, lot 27.
I only bid on one QSA, the group to Demmer, Steinaecker’s Horse.
Most of the other bids were for Rhodesian GSM’s. I have always been keen on these medals as the conflict was from my era for want of a better phrase.
The ABO to Pratt is a welcome addition to the small collection of ABO’s to English surnames. How these fellows were not shot as traitors when captured is a mystery to me.
The last of the auctions for the year, I hope.

Cheers,

Jim

I wonder if Pratt was related to the chap that tried to assasinate H F Verwoerd ? Might be worth chasing up .
