Hello Frank,

"Stoker Arms" in Newlands Avenue, what a wonderful pub. I used to look after the gas supply there for the draft beer at a point in time.

No, even though the family were all from Cape Town the medals were found in the UK by a mate of mine who in turn contacted me and now they are back home!!

Regards

Brett,

"Stokers" in Kloof was also a customer of mine when I was in the engineering department. We still supply the gas there as at Forries in Capetown,CO2 for the coke dispenser and N2 for the draft.

When are we going to Stokers again for lunch??

Brett, I must add that the "scenary" is better at Forries what with all the UCT students floating in and out all day long!!!! :P

Cheers

Morning Adrian,
Well, you have surprised me, those are the sort of medals I would still expect to turn up in South Africa, glad they have made it back home.
Regards Frank
