Good afternoon David,
Quite a scarce medal these days and not one that can be found at a bargain price anymore.

Very interesting post. I have not yet managed to get my hands on a QM for some reason; have to rectify that! Thought: would it be possible to get both a QSA, be invalided/discharged and then go back to do POW guard with a Militia BN and get the QM? I suppose it would be. Was it?

Hello Ian,
I have never seen one, nor, it must be said, have I even thought about that possibility?
Until now that is, but, I have to say that I'd be rather surprised if I ever did see such a pair.

Hello Ian

Such movements did occur, but from the scant evidence it appears only a QSA or Med was issued. Some discussion here: www.britishmedalforum.com/viewtopic.php?...Mediterranean+Medal+
