Photo is not the best, but, it looks okay, his medal is shown on the BSAP roll in WO100/238 page 6.

The letter looks like an R in the photo so I imagine this is an engraver's error. Perhaps he was not familiar with the BSAP? Also, being an officer casualty, perhaps his medal was named early for presentation to the family?

I do feel the advertisement of these two medals was an opportunity lost by the auctioneers but, as Mike says, they are likely to command a good price. I will report back on this Brett.
