I have a group with a confirmed Relief of Kimberley/Relief of Mafeking QSA

This topic has been raised in another thread : perhaps those messages could be shifted here.






On the QSA roll for No 5 Coy ASC (WO 100/213, p44) Fielding's entitlement to the Cape Colony bar is ruled through and Relief of Mafeking is marked "Yes". As shown above he transferred to No 9 Coy ASC and the Relief of Kimberley bar is shown as issued on 31/03/1903.

I'll have to have a look at him, you deserve more with this group, but, I have always found the ASC a complete pain in the backside, as far as research goes they can be a complete non starter, I bought a good FID pair years ago to an inspector, but, when it came to research, very disapointing, anyway, what about the Great War pair?
It is a superb group, good to see it on here today and very rare too!
