It is very kind of you to find out this information, I had tried the National Archives, I believe I did meet

Charles Briggs, he died in 1954, he had married in 1904, and I do remember his wife, they had one

daughter, who I was very fond of, and it was her, who gave these photo albums to my mother, leading me

to want to find out more about this man, who had taken a camera to war.
