As the Coroner said, a very sad story.

With thanks to RootsChat posters, I can add the following: - she was born at Worksop, Nottinghamshire. In the 1881 Census, she and her brother Frederick were living at 172 Station Street, Burton upon Trent, with Frederick's two daughters from his marriage - Frederick's occupation was Engine Driver (Steam Cooperage). In the 1901 Census he was a Stationary Engine Driver, still at the same address with his two daughters, and Eliza's younger sister was also living there.
