None of these names appear in our tree, but, I have not got to the part of searching for siblings who may have settle in South Africa, before or after our Riach.
I will keep this info, just in case and hope I am able to use it in time. If not, I will delete.

A most interesting post.
I am fortunate to be the custodian of the following Q.S.A.
949 O.R.Sgt. Riach, Arthur. Uitenhage Volunteer Rifles Belmont, Modder R, Trans, Witt, S.A.01, S.A.02
served in Rimmington's Guides, Bethune's M.I. & Uitenhage V.R.
I must admit that the QSA;s to Colonial Units with Belmont & Modder River clasps bring out the 'must have a good go at that' in me.
