I'm researching the career of a private who served with the Imperial Yeomanry in South Africa from 3 March 1900 to 24 October 1900.

The following actions are listed on his discharge papers. Any additional information on these actions would be greatly appreciated.

Stolen from a Berenice 2014 post on this site.

Just done a newspaper search for Faber's Spruit in 1900 and received 164 hits. I think more than one man died.

This is a succinct report - as I said more than one man died!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sir Charles Warren - Jack the Ripper eluded him and he was criticised for his command during the Second Boer War.

Thanks for that! This soldier's records indicate that he served with the 73rd (Paget's Horse) Company.

Paget's Horse has its own Wiki page:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paget%27s_Horse

This page mentions "The unit saw action at Faber's Put, Elands River, Lichtenburg, and numerous engagements on the lines of communication." That appears to be 2 out of the 4 actions listed on his discharge papers.
