ABO (Burg. J. Cilliers) sold by DNW March 2010. £150
He served throughout the war, October 1899-June 1902 and was present in the actions at Mafeking, Elandslaagte, Ladysmith, and others.

ABO (Burg. J. Cilliers). City Coins 57 - November 2007
Jan Cilliers first served with Potchefstroom Cdo on Eastern Front (Dundee, Elandslaagte, Ladysmith).
After the retreat from Natal the Commando resorted under Genl P J Liebenberg and Cilliers saw service at Mafeking & Donkerhoek (Diamond Hill).
