Please can you tell me more about this medal for Rothman, Christoffel Frederick. I do believe that he is my great grandfather.
Many thanks
Sandy

Sandy,

If you contact Audrey (email address in Contacts on the top menu), she will probably be able to copy his application for his medal which will give you some details about him. There is a cost involved which Audrey can discuss with you.

Good luck!
David

What does this mean? Is his medal up for sale?

It was sold at a City Coins auction #18 - many years ago. David is adding old auction data to the site. This way one knows that the medal is out there somewhere in a collection.
