One dealer had this QSA for sale at the Stratford Fair today. I peered very closely to be able to confirm that the price is £4,650

Sister Frances Louise

I am not sure what warrants this price tag. A lot of nurses were justifiably and deservedly MID.

I seem to recall at least 2 medals to nuns being sold at City Coins a few years ago, where the price achieved was about £1300, I don't have the records to hand, but I think £4650 is a little optimistic and I would be very surprised to see it sell at that price. A rare medal indeed, medals to these nuns very rarely come up for sale.

I agree Jon. If the 4 became a 1 I feel it would be more realistic

Morning

Just checked my records and the QSA to Sister Raphael, also MID and at Bloemfontein sold in October 2018 at City Coins for a R22000 + R3300 for a total of R25300, at the prevailing rate of exchange that was £1405.
Add a nominal annual growth of 10% equates to approx £1900 today.
