Bennet | Arthur Buckley | | Captain | He died of peritonitis, April 24th, 1900, at Bloemfontein. He was born in June 1866, educated at Cheltenham, and entered the Cheshire Regiment in August 1886, being promoted into the Royal Warwickshire Regiment as Captain in April 1898. He served in the Burmese expedition 1887-89, with the 2nd Battalion Cheshire Regiment receiving the medal with clasp. His name was inscribed on the Eleanor Cross War Memorial at Cheltenham College.
