Burmester | Charles Mansel | | | He was educated at Dulwich College, and entered the service of the Norddcutscher Lloyd Steamship Company at Bremen in 1898. He resigned his position in 1899 and joined the Imperial Yeomanry, serving with them in the Boer War in 1900-1 (QSA and four clasps).
