| McMicking | G | | Major | Born in 1862, and is son of Gilbert McMicking. He was educated at the RMA, Woolwich, and served in the Roval Artillery until 1894. During the Boer War in 1899-1902, he commanded the CIV Battery, with the rank of Major, and was a Major in the Hon Artillery Company of London. Major McMicking is Liberal MP of Kirkcudbrightshire, having won the seat in 1906. He married, in 1893, Gertrude, daughter of Nathaniel Gore.
