MASONIC PRESENTATION TO A VOLUNTEER.

At a meeting of Bon-Accord Lodge of Freemasons (No. 669) held in the Masonic Hall, Aberdeen, on Wednesday, Brother George Hardy was congratulated on his return from South Africa, and was presented with a masonic jewel as a tangible memento of his campaign in South Africa, the Right Worthy Master remarking that the jewel would always bring to his remembrance that he was one of those who took an active part in one of the greatest struggles this country had ever been engaged in. Bro. Hardy feelingly replied. An adjournment was then made to the Waverley Hotel, where a pleasant hour was spent in song and toast. Brothers Spence, Bothwell, Mitchell, Drummond, and Caldwell adding greatly to the enjoyment.
