The Amberley residents tendered a reception to Trooper J. ARMSTRONG, of the Seventh Contingent, in the Oddfellows’ Hall on Monday evening. Mr J.M. Brodie presided. Trooper ARMSTRONG was presented with a gold albert, with pendant, and also with a hunting crop. A pleasant musical programme was followed by dancing.
