1ST SUSSEX ROYAL GARRISON VOLUNTEERS.
……. General Sir Alfred Turner immediately proceeded with the presentation of prizes, first handing gold medals to Sappers HAMMON, PILFORD, and WEST, of the 1st Royal Sussex Engineers, who went through the South African War.
